Six Years

六年前的今日, 小芬羽毛都未生成, 就從 Mar Mar 懷裡飛了出來. 六年話都冇咁快就過去. 期間小芬人生經歷以下 milestones:

• 無啦啦每個月 3/4 收入去了供車供樓
• 開始放了工想第一時間翻歸
• 終於知道咩叫「窮」, 期間很多謝 Sandra 同美珊 restock 我個雪櫃
• 終於供完架車
• 上一段長達六年的感情告一斷落
• 契女 Nicole 出世
  
• 認識了梁生 via 「一叮」
• 第一次去日本
• 在冇後路情形下炒了前老闆魷魚
  
• '06 年平安夜喺 Republic 認識了文生
• Nathan 出世
• 第一次去台灣

六年後的今日, 當然唔捨得現在的小巢. 下星期就要搬啦...還是很緊張!!

Guu'd ^4

I've been meaning to blog about Guu Izakaya since the first time I went on Valentine's Day. Of course, I wanted to post some pics so I thought I'd wait...sigh...now I'm too lazy to post them. LOL! I must say, I really like Guu!! Liked it so much after the first visit, that I went back 3 times since! Over the span of 5 weeks, I've been there 4 times...yep, I was impressed all right! Really like the salmon natto zukke, tako wasabi, grilled saba. Honourable mentions: everything else!

Wait times:
Feb. 14 - arrived after 9:00pm, about half hour wait (Valentine's Day)
Feb. 21 - arrived at 9:05pm, seated after 11 minutes (had a grouchy day)
Mar. 14 - arrived at 6:00pm, one hour wait (Tinlop's birthday)
Mar. 20 - arrived at 5:15pm, OMG, 1.5 hour wait!! (細V and Gootoe's zap zap day, lol)

I have to remember the recipe for the Bamboo drink:
Over ice in a tall glass, add 1oz Chilean white wine, 0.5oz McGuinness Melon liqueur, 2oz lychee juice, top with PC club soda! Yum!

Moving Soon!

Wah, as the new condo is slowly but surely coming to completion (finally!), time is ticking away quickly and I'm getting closer and closer to moving day! I can't believe it's almost the end of March. Between organizing the move in/move out, making sure things are all booked, letting reality sink in (the hardest part, lol), overlooking EVERYTHING that's happening at the new condo, trying to relax....the list goes on... I've only had a chance to pack 1 box of CDs and 1 box of DVDs. Sigh... Now I just found out today that I don't have an elevator to move out for Good Friday! So now it looks like I'll be moving on April Fool's Day...which is ... NEXT THURSDAY!!!!!

Recent Addition and a Busy Weekend!

I must show off my recent additions to my inventory and I must say, I am quite excited to welcome them home:

My eventful weekend started off on Friday with an emergency Taro's Fish rendezvous, alongside my version of the $35 shrimp cocktail ($54 version shown below, LOL). On Saturday morning, 文生 and I went backsplash hunting at Keele and Lawrence and then wine hunting at Markham and Steeles. Sunday started bright and early with Karen at the new condo to do paint chip and backsplash matching, lunch with 公公 and 婆婆 at Congee Queen, rice cooker hunting at 123719287 different places for 太上文太, paint purchasing at Rona Lansing, paint drop off at new condo. Tomorrow, back to tile place to drop 4 digits, deliver tiles to new condo and get to work by 11am. Busy!!

繼可可數月前細V上身, 呢次輪到我喇.

話說小芬駕甲蟲又入咗廠 -_-" 而文生駕車都入埋喎, 所以我今日就要搭車返工喇 (can you almost guess what happened already?? LOL!)

從未搭過Viva的小芬今朝喺Finch Station盲摸摸買咗張唔知搭去邊嘅飛, 然後盲蹤蹤上咗駕唔知開去邊嘅巴士. 開車之後發覺可能... 應該... check下班車開去邊. 平時Type A Personality的小芬應該緊張咗好耐, 應該未出門口就已經fuss, 一直fuss到目的地. 真係好奇怪, 已經差唔多遲到啦, 我竟然分外鎮定. 慢慢翻開張Viva map, 慢慢了解原來Finch Station嘅Viva bus只得一個方向行. Lucky! 我念, 嘩, 原來take it easy, 咩都唔念有時都會work out fine bor... 做人會開心啲.
