原來唔靠男人係可以, 但係如果要靠就要搵個有錢嘅. 點解?

and I thought that would be it...HOWEVER, Denis "discovered" that the catalytic converter was busted so:

• Catalytic converter - $850

for a grand total of $975... and all I planned to do was an oil change -_-""

繼上次換呔事件, 又一「靠自己」汽車事故.

話說小芬坐駕已經有番咁上下年紀, 久不久就要攞去俾車佬搞搞. 今日約咗Sofay食飯, 念住食完就放低架車俾車佬換油. 點知都未離開Metro, 就成個車底cover甩鬼咗, 拖住嚟行, clack clack聲. 我即刻打俾車佬Darius求救, 對話如下(開場白刪除):

D: 兩個方法: 1. 搵個男人幫你扯甩佢 2. 照樣由得佢拖住渣上嚟車房我幫你睇
J: 拖住行會唔會俾警察逗?
D: 咁黑, 冇人理你嘅
J: 咁係咪jack高架車扯佢出嚟就得?
D: 你jack?!?!
J: 係呀...好似換呔咁嘛...自己搞得掂
D: 你喺邊?
J: 「大統華」停車場
D: 你一個女人仔喺「大統華」停車場念住jack高架車?!?! 好危險0架! 搵個男人幫你啦! 甭喇, 都係由得佢拖住渣上嚟啦

結果, 兩個女人仔喺「大統華」停車場, 少少狼狽地扯甩咗個cover, 搞到爬哂街. 念住打俾文生叫佢陪我去車房, 點知:

H: 我有下場喎...你call拖車啦...
J: -_-""

有時啲男人真係冇q用...可以想像點解有啲女人會轉投lesbian行列.

天然うに使用

When I first saw the package of chips at 叮噹, I did a double take. I looked again and sure enough what I thought I saw was right...UNI!!! Uni flavoured chips!! What else will the Japanese think of? Being a huge uni fan, I decided to give it a try. Just to be sure I wasn't going to be ripped off by some "Made in China with Japanese writing" product, I checked to see that it was indeed made in Japan. I unwillingly paid three bucks plus taxes for this 50g bag of uni chips but eagerly went home and tore it open in front of my computer while watching my TVB series.

BOY WAS I DISAPPOINTED!! It tasted nothing like uni! -_-" Imagine chewing on shrimp chip flavoured cardboard. Yes, not even shrimp flavoured, but shrimp chip flavoured. I examined the packaging a little more and noticed: 天然うに使用. Puzzled by the lack of uni taste despite using "natural uni" in the product, I looked at the list of ingredients. でん粉 (澱粉)、 植物油脂、えび (蝦 so they used shrimp, hence the shrimp chip taste)、うに風味パウダー... AHA!! The key is this: うに風味パウダー uni flavoured POWDER!!! Even more disappointed now that I got ripped off by a Japanese product, I kicked myself for not taking the time to read the packaging a little more carefully.

So, $3.38 short and a lesson learned. -_-"

Snowing in April and a mild taste of Bipolar Disorder

I can't believe it's snowing in April! Well, actually I can LOL! It has obviously happened many times before so it's no surprise this morning when I woke up to slushy roads and spitting freezing rain.

The last few days have been horrid...absolutely dreadful. The weather's been great (of course, up until today) but my mood swings have definitely gotten the better of me:

• Thursday night I started feeling really irritated and upset
• Felt better on Friday as I did some online "window-shopping" at the office
• Distress hit me again on Friday night and stayed up until 5am crying
• Decided to sleep the ENTIRE Saturday away (17hrs), without even getting up for the bathroom
• Finally got up at about 11pm and cried some more while smashing my head into my bedroom wall a few times (LOL, it's funny in retrospect, but definitely not so at the time)
  
• Felt much better after shoving Haagen Dazs Mango Sorbet down my throat as my breakfast/lunch/dinner/midnight snack for the day
• Went out on Sunday and was really happy and excited until about 6pm, when I started to get irritated and upset again
• My mood actually lifted a bit when I watched the season finale of Rupaul's Drag Race and the season premiere of Beautiful Kitchen 2 but I went to sleep pissed off and upset again

I know exactly what's bugging me and I'm perfectly aware that more mood swings are coming my way until I sort things out. Just wish me luck that I will not need psychological help! LOL!
