As a tradition, we celebrate 文生's birthday with another birthday girl who happens to be just FIVE days older... PEGGY!! On Saturday, we went for Japanese cuisine at Miyabi where the 6 of us were barely full from having the sashimi boat, uni sushi, beef tataki, lobster tempura, hamachi kama and the giant California roll of a sushi "cake" that I made. We ended up having to order more food over bubble tea at the Green Grotto. LOL!
On Sunday, the celebrations continued as I managed to keep 文生 in the dark (despite him being at home for the entire day) for the surprise 盆菜 dinner we had at home. Thanks Mom, for preparing the yummy 海參, 冬菇, 發菜, 扣肉 etc. etc. It was a BIG pot of 盆菜 but the 6 of us managed to eat it ALL!! Muahahahaha!!
