農曆年初一

今日係農曆年初一, 但係總覺得冇乜新年氣氛. 今日心情同先幾日一樣咁差、公司0的客一樣咁蠢. 開頭唸住新一年、新開始, 會開心0的 (或者0的蠢人會醒少少, 又或者會唔call我). 不過我錯喇...錯晒.

好多謝文生呢幾日嘅體諒. 連我都覺得自己難頂, 但係佢就受晒.

希望今年大家都身體健康、如意吉祥、多方面更上一層樓啦! 更希望全球經濟可以早日復甦!

I'm off to see the dentist, the wonderful dentist of...erm...Mississauga?

Off I went this morning for my semi-annual dental checkup in Mississauga. If the people there weren't so nice, I would dread going ALL the way to Britannia and Mississauga Road just to wait an hour (or longer), suffer the 30-minute cleaning (I have sensitive teeth), have them tell me the odd time that I don't floss properly, give them $70 and then drive ALL the way back to work in Vaughan.

My dentist Dr. Chau is always a fun guy to converse with. Every time I've seen him in the last few years, he has told me every single time that my wisdom teeth are coming out. I always wonder how many times he has to tell me before he starts realizing that I know already? Today, however, he added an extra comment: "點解你咁大年紀先出呢呵?" Drole, isn't it? -_-"

Colleen at the reception desk is also fun to chat with. She's always smiling and always so positive! We need more people like her in our gloomy society.

These ginormous icicles caught my attention when I walked up the stairs to the dental office.

I need to vent!

Toronto Power Failure - we're featured on RTHK!

While listening to RTHK today, noticed that they've covered our power outage story on their hourly news: 「加 拿 大 多 倫 多 部 份 地 區 停 電 ， 10 萬 居 民 受 影 響 。 當 地 天 氣 嚴 寒 ， 最 高 氣 溫 為 零 下 17 度 。」 - source 香港電台

I guess it's pretty big news huh?

... 好 Q 凍呀!

... 自己um荷包買咗一個 Panasonic 熱水壺返公司. 雖然有啲貴, 但係真係一分錢一分貨囉. 昨日喺「大統華」買咗一個大陸製嘅大陸牌... OMG! First it didn't want to boil, and after fidgeting with it, it DIDN'T want to STOP boiling!! Of course I returned it right away la!!

喺好似呢幾日咁凍, 喺公司有 hot water on-demand 真係幾好0架! 最好笑就係我啲同事, 通通未見過、未用過. 仲覺得好新奇, 個個新屎坑排住隊用囉!
