Busy busy weekend

"Project Fixing Up 文生's Place" has officially begun on the weekend! Started with patching up the walls that have been dug in by Casper. Next: fix up the window frame chewed up by Tango, sand walls, repaint, replace carpet on stair landing... sounds so easy, but such a tough job for a newbie like me!! Good thing my 四舅父 gave me pointers. LOL~!

Better late than never.... and Project Potato Head - ver. 1.3

After a long busy week, and a horrendously long day at work today, I finally had a chance to sit down and scrap 細 V's birthday page. Took me just over 2.5 hours and I'm finally done la~ Better late than never la...

I guess while I'm here, I might as well post my potato head project too.

Zoom, zoom zoom.....

My wonderfully eventful weekend started on Friday night when I drove downtown through protesters, Blue Jay fans, beefed up security protecting Bush and Clinton, and marathon cyclists. After successfully finding parking, I proceeded to Canyon Creek where we had 細 V's birthday dinner. We had our own private room where we spent some good times with "creative" friends over good food and a whiteboard!

On Saturday, 文生 and I attended Greenpark's Touched with Hope Charity Gala at the Embassy Grand in Brampton. We had great appetizers of sushi, roast beef, martinis and more but the greatest were the OYSTERS!!! Muahahaha, I had 2 dozen all by myself! Of course, by the time we had our "real" dinner, we were both full! LOL! I wanted to take lots of pictures, but felt completely weird with my camera so I ended up leaving it in the car. Boo...

Chilly Sunday started really early when 文生 and I went to Downsview Park for our BMW 3-Series Comparison Drive. Wow, it was so much fun! We got to test drive the 328i xDrive (both automatic and manual transmissions), Audi A4, Lexus IS250, Mercedes C class AWD, BMW 335i xDrive, and the new 335d (diesel) in a closed course where we twist & turned, slammed on the brakes after accelerating to 80km/hr, simulated sudden lane changes and more! It was quite an experience! The 2 hour session ended way too quickly.

After lunch of Taiwanese food, we went to part 2 of 細 V's birthday celebrations that consisted of noon K-ing and a yummy dumpling dinner.

Happy Birthday 細 V!!

Quite an eventful weekend I must say, and now completely exhausted after today's busy schedule at work.
